Cimarron Hills is a census-designated place (CDP) located in El Paso County, Colorado, and is part of the Colorado Springs Metropolitan Statistical Area. As of July 2024, Cimarron Hills has an estimated population of approximately 20,008. The community is largely residential, with a blend of suburban and rural characteristics. Situated just east of Colorado Springs, Cimarron Hills provides its residents with easy access to the amenities and employment opportunities of a larger city while maintaining a more peaceful, suburban feel.

The area covers 6.05 square miles and does not have any surface water. Cimarron Hills is known for its family-friendly atmosphere and affordable housing options compared to surrounding areas.

Cimarron Hills is located at latitude 38.8586° N and longitude -104.6989° W, with an elevation of approximately 6,447 feet above sea level. The community is about 1.5 miles north of U.S. Highway 24 and 9 miles from Interstate 25, providing easy access to transportation networks. It is also located near Colorado Springs Airport, making it convenient for travel. The landscape includes scenic views of the Front Range, and the area experiences a semi-arid climate typical of Colorado Springs.

The community is mostly residential, with numerous parks and open spaces that cater to families and outdoor enthusiasts.
